NEP International Events Group (IEG) - Fly Pack System
The NEP Flypack System is designed to be a modular and scalable solution to remote production requirements where a traditional mobile unit can not be placed. This digital system is targeted to medium size location productions and can handle rigination in NTSC or PAL formats and 110 volt or 220 volt power environments. Total flexibility is the key to success on these challenging location environments by the use of the NEP Flypack System.
The Digital Flypack System features a Sony MVS 8000 2 1/2 ME Video Switcher and DME 7000 Edigital Effects System along with a Sony 64x64 Digital Video Router as the core components of the video system. As configured the system supports from 6 to 8 cameras, 20 inbound video splits and from 10 to 12 channels of recording devices such as Digibetas, Fast Forwards or EVS LSMs.
On the audio side of the system a variety of options exist for the main mixing console from Yamaha PM4000 or 5000 to a single Soundcraft Delta 200 or a pair of bussed 200’s. This gives the end user a range of options from 52 to 24 input channels. The core flypack system utilizes SDI embedded audio. The multiplexers and de-multiplexers to allow this are included in the system. However, a separate audio router, a Sony DVS 128 and an analog audio routing matrix can be used depending on client needs.
There are two intercom options for communications. An Adams Zeus Matrix with 6 wet PLs and 8 IFB channels, or for larger projects, an RTS ADAM CS Intercom matrix can be utilized with 64 ports, 12 wet PLs, 16 IFBs and four telephone interfaces.
DPS 475/575 Frame Synchronizers can be added as required for non-synchronous feeds.
The NEP Flypack can be operated from 120 or 240 volt environments in the NTSC or PAL format standard. Power distribution for all racks and internal rack power are included. Interconnect cabling has been optimized to allow for ease of setup and teardown. All interconnect cabling and harnesses are included.
